Right? The biggest milgram-experiment style activity ever undertaken.

As soon as the 'magistrate' ordered crime against the village - and turning off power for people who had paid for it is criminal, irrespective of any vaccine or coercion shenanigans.. he should have been arrested. By the villagers even if no other enforcement staff were willing.
