Soldiers are drones. They're not supposed to have personality, individuality, or the ability to do anything but follow orders and do the bidding of their masters. Sad, and probably and unpopular opinion, but it's true. Perhaps once all this is over, this will no longer be the case, and soldiers will be used only as necessary instead of being duped into doing the bidding of those controlling the military industrial complex.
