This is the way. Shame is the dash of cold water that is needed at the moment. It is rather like showing a cat its leavings in order to explain why it doesn't happen in the house. (Biden is of course the turd on the floor in this scenario- you cannot polish it- you can add glitter to it but it remains a turd.) ;)
