Since the search engines suck, this is next to impossible to find. But surely there are examples and cases of this happening, right?

YES! In 1994 in Pennsylvania a Democrat Senator was removed after election fraud was proven. They used a lot of the same tactics as we've seen lately:

Fraud has no statute of limitations. Trump should be reinstated within 72 hours once the fraud is officially proven.
