The fundamental point is that no one has proven that germs cause diseases (bacteria and viruses).
No one has isolated anything from a person with germ diseases (flu etc), which when injected into a healthy person gives them the disease. It sounds incredible, but it seems the scientists have abandoned this goal because it has never worked. So now they accept germs cause disease implicitly without proving it.

I would be more concerned about chemicals rather than tritium.
