Jesus certainly says what is Truth, because He is the Truth. But, His Truth is also an invitation. To me the more difficult question is how does God expect us to follow Jesus when we are accosted by a fallen angel named Lucifer? My answer to that, for what it is worth, is that we are on a journey and it is our choice to try to keep Christ in focus, ornot, and if we do, He will fill us with grace to stay focused. And when we don't, He will still fill us with grace to invite us back. The ball is in our court.
