As far as the George hate goes... I'm cautious myself, but think they're in on some things. Also, they're a group of several people, one of whom is foreign/uses different calendar settings. Personally, that doesn't turn me off; but was a red flag for a moderator who left this site. Personally, I have my ideas on a few who may be part of it, but who actually knows. So, again, take it for whatever it's worth. If you don't like it, just keep scrolling?
