I go to Mass almost every morning and over the last 18 months I've forgotten what my acquaintances look like or what their voices sound without the muffling.
It was shocking to see how they all aged. One woman, new to me this year, is someone I would have guessed to be about 35. Mask off - closer to 50+!
BTW, the old folks were the first to rip them off. Sadly, my close friend, a retired RN, chose to keep hers on. Sort of like a security blanket.
Not that I'm not glad churches are over this bs but a lot of them lost my respect when they allowed that mask vaccine garbage to control how the brethren gathered to even begin with.
A few in my community I won't even go back to because those in charge of the flocks showed me who their real god was and even worse they showed what they'll do to anyone in their congregation who refuses to go along with that god even when it goes against the best interest of their own flock.
Regardless, God bless you in Jesus name, sister. Amen.
