I've heard the "deboonked" excuse that the machines wouldn't count the ballots twice but it wouldn't read one so that's why the kept shoving them in. I don't know how they knew the machine couldn't read some ballots or why they didn't just rescan the one or two faulty ballots instead of the whole stack so I call bs

They can never explain why they waited until after they kicked everyone out to start doing something that "is completely totally normal" or how it's not fishy at all to kick out everyone "but they had ONE state hired poll watcher hiding in a corner somewhere so it's not illegal." Because even if somehow it isn't illegal it definitely smells fishy and is obviously immoral, kicking party poll watchers out.
