Thou shall not kill.
Actually it's: "Thou shalt not MURDER." There is a very very strong differentiation between the two.
I see the distinction now. Thank you, I had not realized this.
self defense etc. Do not be afraid to use what you have to survive.
Thou shalt not murder. Big difference.
Thou shall not rape and torture children.
The enemy does not play by the rules. Do you just allow them to murder you for the sake of "thou shalt not kill?"
I think acts of self-preservation do not count.
I didn't write the rules, God did.
Did God not also say there is a time for everything under Heaven? A time to reap and a time to sow, a time to steal and a time to kill?
Where is this? I realize I might be wrong and I'd like to check for myself.
Do you think God wants his people to bow to the enemy, or to fight to protect what he created?
I don't know exactly. Was Jesus not the prince of peace? He told us to turn and offer the other cheek. God's word also says to respect authority and government because he put them there.
This is a very confusing time.
