Seriously, we were taught about Juneteenth in Texas schools but every one (I mean every one) treated it as a “you should know that this day exists, and what it means. Moving on.”
Aside from that, very curious as to why it was rushed (it came out of the blue). I highly suspect it was to give the sec a day off

Same here we covered it just like a blip on a page in a chapter about end of the war or special Thing.
Very curious as well…all I can see is they’ll take whatever win they can get at this point
