When George HW Bush vomited on the Japanese prime minister in 1992 I saw a Thai newspaper and the vomit was actually showing coming out. The American newspaper had Barbara covering his face with a napkin. I knew at that point that the American news media story was definitely more sanitized. Operation Mockingbird or not, it was a wake up for me.
