The Canaanites became known in history as the Phoenicians, who eventually founded Carthage and became the feared enemies of Rome. Other major Phoenician cities include Tyre and Sidon.
Can you expand on that? I never heard that. I’ve thought that Philistines= Palastinienes. One of many tribes that claim the holy land.
