If you think when you write down "Organ donor" on your drivers license, you're a good person, well maybe you are but here's the flip side. If your organs are healthy and there is a waiting list, there is more financial incentive for you to be put on drugs and pronounced brain dead, and if you don't think this is a business, put on your mask back on and go about your day like all the other sheep out there.

Only certain organs. They can take skin, tendons, etc from mostly anyone. And they will call and pressure the families after death and before the body is released to sign off on donation. Source: I am a mortician.
As a mortician, may I ask you if business has been busier than normal over the last year? Has it picked up even more in the last six months?
I can’t speak for all areas of the country but it’s been about the same in mine. I asked my former coworkers from from former funeral home after I quit but before I moved states at the so-called “peak” (this was during lockdown last March) and they told me nothing much had changed other than forced closed casket and smaller funerals.
Excellent, thank you SO MUCH!
Ofc. Sort of off topic but I left my former area of the country due to an infiltration of liberal female directors (no offense to conservative females, I am one, but liberal females are the worst!) They haven’t infiltrated as much down here yet, but if you are conservative and want to do this job, we need you! Also, if you ask a funeral director if they are a donor 99% will tell you no, I’d put money on that, although we are supposed to appear neutral so we can’t tell clients this. I was a donor before I got my embalming/ Director license.
