And you can bet this is what happened in 2016 but they never had the contingency plan to cope with Trump's popularity. So before Trump could even suggest voter fraud they accused him of Russian collusion.

I really believe all that spying was going to be for them to destroy Trump for daring to challenge their power hold. Can you imagine what would've happened if Clinton had "won"? They'd have locked him up and thrown away the key.
