I thought this EXACT same thing. It has never been reported on, to my knowledge, but I am very curious about it. Possibly the hand is gloved (possibly even with a membrane that leaves false fingerprints) or the nails contain some kind of tech (tracking? signaling to others with the same tech?). You're convincing me to rewatch footage to find more of the same.
