I've been hearing a lot of booms near me lately

In a suburb about 30 minutes from Chicago. The area is actually pretty peaceful. The last couple weeks though I've been hearing more booms. First couple times I believe it came north of me, somewhere near a park perhaps.

I wonder if anyone else has been experiencing this as well.

Nahh. That’s just Guile practicing in training mode.

I have been hearing fireworks, tbh. Never thought about it much but I do recall there wasn’t really a holiday attached. Was always wondering but I’m not too convinced my anecdote is anything more than just a bunch of weirdos in my area.
