That's the funny thing, as long as you are wearing a mask people aren't afraid to touch your credit card, cash etc. I've tried to follow the mental gymnastics these people are making, but I can't wrap my head around it.
You know the "Twister" game? That's the gymnastics they're doing: the sadistic "Simon Says" mental version of the twister game. Keep fighting the good fight, and don't forget to pray.
If it's any comfort, I bet in Korea you don't see the meme-worthy pink-haired nose-ring demonstrators every day like we have in LA, or the civil degradation of street violence and shoplifting. This will have its own reckoning, and painful for large swathes of the city, even if we're largely ditching the masks.
