I'm working on a paper regarding the potential bias of Wikipedia articles and Google search results, and the relationship between them.

An extremely large part of public opinion is shaped from these, and at least for Wikipedia, we have the power to edit articles to remove opinion and include truth. One of Wikipedia's rules is to avoid opinion. As far as Google search results, not much I can think that I can do besides expose how bad it is.
