I totally agree with you. He should get an award. I have taken care of a lot of older people in my career as a Registered Nurse. It seems to me that some days he's good and some days he is not, but the differences are too extreme to be real. Does that make sense?
Totally. From my experience people with dementia have more bad days than good. We are watching an actor who chooses the bad days and good days.
Thank you. He chooses the days and the situations and ... even when he's bad, he's not weird enough. And he never cusses ... and dementia folks love to cuss, especially to say sh*t. Amirite? ? And when he's good, he's too good, know what I mean? Thanks for your thoughts.
You are completely right, they have little control over their speech, in a bad way. There is a controlled chaos with Bidan, ;-)
