Hitler may be somewhat misrepresented but let us dispel with this notion that he wasn't "the bad guy". That would imply that the workers in the ground who orchestrated the fraud are not "the bad guy" just because they were under someone else.

Hitler was definitely the bad guy. Both sides were played in that war.
