my idea is that Donald Trump has taken over the republican party.. so while i understand and sympathize with your statement entirely, i believe the republican party is becoming something different This was the reason for my distinction " republican of old ", I meant the uniparty republicans. my stating that they like being the bottom to the democrat top was a reference to them being in bed with each other. ( the Colloquial " bottom " being the person on the receiving end of the sex act )
