It's not about being "better" than them. It's about freedom. If you continue to allow the other side to break the rules, while living by some moral standard high ground. They are going to win. Just like anything else or any other sport. Sometimes you have go stand up for yourself and hurt someone. You have to punch that bully in the face or belly to get them to feel something. Logic and rational don't feel. Bullies are all about feel. For example, we had to go to a civil war to end slavery because we could not rationally convince the confederates that slavery wasn't cool. George Washington had to attack the British on Christmas of all times because he knew what he had to do to win for America. If George had said, "Well it's Christmas and we are a nice kind people who are better than them, so we will wait until later". We might not have been America today. The enemy does not care about logic or rationell. They will feel pain however and back down.
