I agree this is likely. Had he been transferred to US custody, the people after him probably would have killed him.

The other option is they did kill him.

Hope that deadmans switch was legit. If so, and we see a lot of intel hitting our sites suddenly, we're gonna have to use discernment and dig to see what's real.

Could be a concerted effort to flood the field with disinformation. This, plus Dong Jingwei? Lotta stuff to potentially have to cover for, is my thinking.
