Serious question. How many PC's have come pre-loaded with McAfee anti-virus software in the past 25 years?
?? Theory ??
How many politicians, corporations, CEO's, have or have had McAfee scanning their computers continuously for decades now. WE HAVE IT ALL! What better way to find it all? The guy may be Scum, but he would not be joking if he said he has Tons of data to be released. There is No Honor amongst Theives. THOUGHTS?
Didn't John McAfee disavow the McAfee product?

after he sold the AV to intel iirc
There was a period of time after he was no longer involved and when Intel purchased the product.
Still doesn't change the Fact that it is ans has been on millions of computers for decades. It is a legitimate Backdoor to all of their Nefarious BS. If you were a Billionaire with Backdoor access to that type of info would YOU just give it up? I certainly wouldn't. Information is POWER. Especially the Right information on the right people.
he's not personally in charge of mcafee products. he was a founder but he resigned from the company in the 90s and was bought out by Intel. They use his name for marketing, but he has no power/relationship to the mcafee products
Hidden code in huge programs like that would be hard to find, especially if the writer knew how to hide it. New generations of programs are going to keep most of the old code, so it is possible it wouldn't matter if the guy was long gone; hidden code that would allow him access would likely remain. I used to write Fortran programs of just a few thousand lines, and I could barely keep track of what was in my own programs! Unless there is documentation throughout, it would be hard for someone to know everything that is in it, and when it comes to programs with 10's of thousands (hundreds of thousands?) lines of code, unless you knew there was something you wanted to find, who would even try?
The odds that there's still carryover of code from the Windows 95 clients of McAfee AV in 2021 are basically zero.
He hasn't been involved with the antivirus since the 90s bro.
Yes.
