So, we're all going with it was demoed right? Not even going to consider the geology of the area? The fact most of Miami was built on porous lime stone and reclaimed swamp land or that the highly porous and permeable Miami Limestone forms much of the Biscayne Aquifer which looks like fucking swiss cheese directly under Miami Dade.
Well, the way you describe it, ALL the buildings in Miami should be falling down.
What, pray tell, are the odds that there have been no other building failures like this in all of Miami's history, but now -- when the bad guys desperately need a distraction -- a building falls into it's own footprint?
Well, the way you describe it, ALL the buildings in Miami should be falling down." No that's not correct at all. I'm pointing out facts that are publicly available yet everyone wants to go right to the "they blew it up" bullshit with zero facts other than "oh I saw a flash of light" and everyone just goes along with it. We're better than that.
What do you mean what are the odds? How the hell should I know but it seems to have happened. Until there's PROOF of this being something other than natural causes like a sink hole or a structural failure which I did hear this building was sited for in the past I will not entertain bullshit theories that make us look like crazys.

I agree that 'we're better than that', but you didn't answer my question...
Miami sits on limestone, and has hundreds of hi-rise complexes dating back several decades. None have fallen into their own footprint.
So, what are the odds that it happens now?
