That was my first thought, too. Pay attention to the last section of the building to fall, which is on the right. You can see a light on one of the floors near the top. Once the left side of the building falls, then the right side starts to fall and that light goes out and then another light comes on a couple floors below it as the upper floors fall down to that point. It looks like the lights are timed.
I don't think they're "lights", I think it's flashes from the controlled demolition charges.
That's EXACTLY what they were. And there's reports of people in other bldgs that heard "booms."
I used "light" as a descriptive term. I wouldn't necessarily call it a "flash" as the top light on the right is on for a second or two.

I thought they might be those emergency lights that come on when the power goes out.
Can't they be electric sparks causing flags fires in the dust? Must be a lot of wires snapping in there.
