Yeah man "Blockchain" means it's constantly cloned on millions of computers (decentralized) so if any go down the others keep it up.

I mean that's a reductive explanation; there was a Blockchain poster the other day here, maybe they could shed more light.

But from my understanding; one does not simply "shut down the Blockchain".
