We play a larger part in the battle for the public opinion than many realize. By “holding the line” in the face of all who laugh at us for considering the possibility that these “crazy” things are actually real, we give those ideas a crucial legitimacy in the minds of many who are on the fence, so that when the moment comes and the undeniable evidence is dropped, people are prepared.
