Might have misspoke, but you can store data in the ethereum blockchain in smart contracts. I’d love to elaborate more but I’m still just in the kiddie pool getting my feet wet. I’ll circle back once I understand more however it is technically possible.

That's my understanding as well. If he puts this data into the blockchain, it's there forever. I have no idea how that works, but I do believe it is possible.
