Wickr is not secure anyway. If you were using it thinking it was, then hopefully you'll stay safe. It's a honeypot operation.... but that said I'm aware of nothing that is really anonymous and secure. The entire internet is a honeypot pretty much.
This is why I don't bother with VPNs or any other "secure" messaging apps.
If you have nothing to hide, there's nothing to worry about.

"We have it all" works both ways, after all.
