this is why its important that the states sent in alternate electors even while the left called it treasonous, useless, pathetic, etc.

because when they decertify the left will argue "how can you do that when you alread sent in your electors?" they can decertify and recerify with the true electors

what do you do if the wrong electors spoke on behalf of your state even if the state did its best to send in the real ones?
