I don't see where it says St Elmos was "associated" with Skull and Bones. It just says it was one of 8 secret societies, which included Skull and Bones, and other societies. A look at the list of high-profile members does not suggest anything nefarious. You need more than this to suggest St Elmos had the same kind of dark, secret rituals and nefarious goals of S+B. I'm not against holding any politician's feet to the fire, but this sounds to me like you're just trying to slime him.
