Hello frens. I just read over our districts reopening plan and they are still entertaining the kungflu agenda, but masks are optional if you sign an opt out form and if someone in the class comes down with it the unmasked automatically get 10 day quarantine. So i guess besides the covid restrictions that i am not happy with, plus them being tracked on their school ipads, what would be more reasons to homeschool? We did it for the last month of this year and I prefer it but husband thinks they need to be in the system in order for us to fight for them and be taken seriously by the school board. I know they are looking forward to going back to school, but my gut is telling me no. I need to convince the husband, please help.

Besides these issues, what is being taught to your kids in public school. Have you considered private or parochial schools?
For 1, CRT, but it isnt called that, they simply renamed it and put fluff around it to distract most people from realizing. History in itself is being rewritten and we now have our modern day book burn with these stupid ipads for every student. The district is getting rid of "old out of date books" was written in one of the plans. They learn to write with their fingers and rarely use pen and paper. But yet our district is touted one of the best in the state. And yes we could pay for private but husband is cheap and stubborn, even though the christian school I like is very affordable.
Would your child be eligible for scholarships or grants from the school? That would help with the cost. (also appealing to grandparents or others who might be willing to help, with your husband's permission, of course, might be a way to get around the 'cheapskate issue')
Oh, we have the money, we moved out of NY to avoid the ginormous property taxes, i would say what we saved there can go to pur kids having a private education. I just need to put my foot down, just preparing my case. Thanks for the input.
