In the early 1960s, Chan Thomas wrote a book titled The Adam and Eve Story and attempted to have it published by Emerson House in Los Angeles. Soon after publishing the full issue, the CIA classified his book for 50 years. An FOIA lawsuit was filed against the CIA to release the book. In 2013, the CIA released a "cleansed" version of the original book (50 pages out of 240 original pages).
Why was this book classified?

Exceedingly interesting so far. Makes me think of Randall Carlson's geological work!
Stunning at times, talking about crust displacement theory, polar shifts, mud in strata, etc. He is a catastrophist, geologically speaking, but from the biblical angle singularly it seems.
In fact, reading this more he is speaking about what we call the Younger Dryas today. And the catastrophe that occurred ~12000 years ago with potential extra terrestrial impact.
For example, https://ibb.co/DCkPq3T https://ibb.co/bbzTzZH
Speaking of ancient Tihuanaco star gazers and how sudden shifts occurred around this time - there are many pieces of evidence that further support this narrative. This was written that long ago, but has pieces of treasure within it.
I'm going to have to look this individual up right now.
The only reason I can think of immediately to censor this is that it implies civilization is much older than ancient Sumer et al, which is what mainstream archaeology insists is true. However all indications point otherwise - Sphinx being much older than indicated as well as many other temples likely in excess of 10,000 years old, or at least around that age. For example water erosion of the Sphinx indicating a different climatic condition which would further align with what he is suggesting in this book. This is a large and growing movement today summed up in two words
"Forbidden Archaeology".
I was talking to a pretty well known geologist last year. He has been on archeological expeditions naturally.
I asked him "What happens if you find something that absolutely shouldn't be there? What if you find a horse bridle or rope marks on the bones of a primitive horse that predates man by many thousands of years? What if you find evidence of metal work among stone age tools, or evidence of a human civilization thousands of years before people supposedly arrived in the Americas?"
He said it would "NEVER happen".
I asked again, "But what if you did find the evidence and it was beyond question".
He said again "Listen clearly, it would never happen".
The meaning was clear. If any evidence was found that proves the accepted time lines are wrong... it never happened.
I wrote a paper analyzing the methods used for dating the Great Pyramid in Egypt. This is a perfect example of how they throw out anomalies. Where do you think the standard date of 2500 BC comes from? It's an average of dates they found from the bottom to the top of the Pyramid, excluding any dates that fell far outside the range of 2300-2800 BC. Some dates were in the 5000-6000 BC range but since "the Pyramid is obviously not that old" they threw those dates out and called them anomalies. The strangest part is that the oldest dates returned came from the top of the Pyramid. I believe my professor tried to convince me that I was somehow a racist by looking into the matter.
Well, it does sound like it contains a myriad of racist concepts such as precision, mathematics, measurement, so I don't see why he wouldn't.
