Someone please help me arrange and correct some thoughts.
Cosmologically, the solar system rotates around galactic center every 32,000 years.
Historically, life on Earth seems to repeat every 16,000 years. Civilization rising and falling.
We're currently about 6,000 years into this cycle (so say the Old Testament people)
Given the above, how far are we into the process of our society evolving?
*Hinduism's beliefs about these things are largely based on cosmology and study of the galaxy/stars/etc. How can we combine these things with the loosely related Christian analogues?(
Not sure what you mean by "evolve," as that is not part of the Christian faith. We are waiting on Jesus to return and take over the world to reign as literal King with throne in Jerusalem and set things right. There are various interpretations of rapture and times, which I don't really want to debate with anyone. [I am currently leaning towards pre-trib.] Jesus said: “However, no one knows the day or hour when these things will happen, not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself. Only the Father knows. “When the Son of Man returns, it will be like it was in Noah’s day. In those days before the flood, the people were enjoying banquets and parties and weddings right up to the time Noah entered his boat. People didn’t realize what was going to happen until the flood came and swept them all away. That is the way it will be when the Son of Man comes.
