You have to wonder what exactly the White Hats promised Trump in exchange for his tremendous help (and huge personal risks to himself and family) in all of this.

Trump was already wealthy, with more money than he could spend in a lifetime. He already had international fame.
What could the White Hats offer a man who seemingly has everything?

How about... nothing. Trump didn't NEED anything.
He had no personal axe to grind against anyone, didn't have political enemies to attack, didn't owe anybody any favors and he wasn't among the "elite in-crowd". In fact, the "elite" seemed to despise Trump. He didn't need them.

I bet the White Hats offered Trump a lead role in the most important event in American history. It would be tough, there will be risks, there is no profit involved... and you will be a personal witness to the worst corruption you ever saw in your life... but it will be interesting. Whatever happens, it will change you as a person and you will never be the same again.
