Recommend any reading materials for follow-up? I try to water-only fast for 5 days every 60 days, I’ve been doing it for past 4 years, I’m 41 now but feel just as good as I used to in my twenties! Never get sick anymore either, not so much as a sniffle since 2016, and I used to get walloped every single winter. I think infectious disease that my body isn’t equipped for is still out there (Ebola, AIDS, mad cow, etc), but nothing I’d come into contact with. When COVID panic started spreading, I convinced my wife and a couple friends to start fasting and they all swear by it now.
The first 24-36 hrs are usually rough (temptation to eat is crazy), but after that I usually feel like I could go way longer than 5 days. I’ve been looking to modify and go longer periods in a way that won’t be damaging (eg 5-day fast, then 5-day only greens/low cal, then 5-day juice/vitamin replenish).
Do you really buy into the no food, no water for 20 years? People can claim anything they want. The majority of his body is made from water, just like everyone else. I've read people who claim to know him say that he regularly drinks juices and smoothies. Maybe he's saying "no food, no water" as a technicality.. but he is consuming water within other things. The dude is consuming calories I promise you.
