Take a minute to remember due process. Obviously if guilty anyone should get the full punishment. What about being set up for some reason. False accusations happen too. The higher ups find out the person has proof of a crime committed by those in charge and set up "lower agents" to take the fall. Even the accusation will discredit any future testimony from those agents. Look at all the angles and look at facts. Not everyone is a bad guy.
