For the past couple of weeks in my town, many of the stores here haven't had the chance to restock items, leaving many empty shelves. There are three regular stores I frequent where I have talked to the employees, and they confirmed that regular shipments aren't coming in, or they only have half the items that are usually delivered. Has anyone else experienced this phenomenon? I remeber that there was talk of a planned food shortage in the U.S on GAW about two months or so ago, so it definitely piqued my curiosity after personally encountering some weird situations.

Similar puzzler: Nationwide shortage on toploaders since the scamdemic began.
Ordered a case in January from a major supplier and they are back ordered until December 2022.
What are they making with all that acid free plastic?
Also noticed a trend where it was near impossible to find 90% isopropyl alcohol until a few months ago. Only thing available for the past year was diluted 70% iso alc.
That one is easier to reconcile, possibly a shortage due to the shift into hand sanitizer production. Still odd though either way.
