For the past couple of weeks in my town, many of the stores here haven't had the chance to restock items, leaving many empty shelves. There are three regular stores I frequent where I have talked to the employees, and they confirmed that regular shipments aren't coming in, or they only have half the items that are usually delivered. Has anyone else experienced this phenomenon? I remeber that there was talk of a planned food shortage in the U.S on GAW about two months or so ago, so it definitely piqued my curiosity after personally encountering some weird situations.

Yes, yesterday (Monday) at the local SamsClub, many of the shelves had empty spots, but I put it down to items selling well, but when I got to the fresh food section, it was obvious. Lot of empty places, and much less variety. Also, tried to get gas, and every line was about 5 cars deep, and taking so long... figured the gas was running very slowly based on how long each car sat there. So went a few miles north to my local Murphy gas station and every pump had a plastic bag on it, and the store area was dark and closed! None of this is normal for Alabama. Something is definitely going on. A few weeks ago, I heard a couple of Lowes employees talking about how they were very understaffed, and it was very hard to get workers, because people were making more staying home drawing their pennies. They would be stupid to give that up and go work for less money! I'll be so happy when this "communist administration" is shown the door (to Gitmo).
