I live in a southern Minneapolis suburb. A week after the mask mandate, i would say about 95% were still wearing masks.
It finally got down to about 10% mask monkey to non.
Something must have spooked them, because at a Walmart this morning, it's back up to 30% again.
Hope about at your area?
Don't sweat it, fren. If they were wearing masks, chances are they had nothing of value to say to you anyway.
Oof! Thank you for this outlook.
Let me just say that my tolerance for mask-lovers is at an all-time low. I belong to a group in order to learn a new skill. Everyone in this group is a liberal, except for me. The group hasn't met in over a year, but is scheduled to meet later this week, as our venue has opened back up for meetings. The president sent out a note about the meeting and informed everyone that if anyone attended who had not gotten the jab, that the entire group would have to wear a mask...for two hours! You can see where this is going. As I am probably the only person not jabbed, I will be blamed for making the entire group mask up.
Unfortunately, if I want to learn this skill, I have to put up with their liberalism, as there is no other place locally for me to learn. I would like nothing more than to point out to them the absurdity of them wearing a mask when all of them are fully jabbed, but I'm sure I'd get that blank zombie stare out of all of them. That being said, I will not be attending in person (they're still doing zoom meetings) until these fools see the light. If that doesn't happen, then so be it. I've probably learned enough that I can continue on my own, worst case scenario.
Are they checking for vaccine cards or can you maybe get around this by omission, saying nothing either way?
No, they're not checking, but they're all bragging about it. As I'm the lone wulf in this herd of sheep, I've laid low and not revealed my political leanings. Getting confrontational with them would be a complete waste of time, as they are about as brainwashed as any group you're likely to come across. It's just easier to bite my tongue for now and stay home. Eventually, their world is going to come crashing down -- hopefully sooner, rather than later.
