The "mask" I wear when I'm required to wear one (certain conditions at my work, when we're in close proximity to the public) is nothing more than the thinnest, easily breathable-through, flimsy spandex style face wrap I could find.
It's so thin you can ewe my face through the translucent fabric.
Funny, no one complains... It's like breathing through a wedding veil or gauze... But people feel safe because I'm covering my face.
So stupid. I feel like a Muslima.
Most customers, once we're one-on-one, ask if they (or I) have to wear masks. Once they ask, I can explain that it's their choice. And then we take them off. 90% of people are like "Thank God!".
Everyone is wearing them because they think they are supposed to do so. It's ridiculous.
