I am not really pro crypto but I think the case against it is not quite as simple as you make it sound. Especially when fiat is the alternative. Idk, maybe you are right though.
Why not skip the dollar, and just tie crypto to gold?
We don't need the federal reserve anymore. Crypto has proven that the people can be in control of the financial market and do just fine without the big banks.
Crypto can be held on a physical wallet. I just bought one of the Nano Ledger wallets for myself. If that isn't secure enough, you can hold your crypto on just about any form of physical media. A cd, cassette, vhs, hell even an old style record could hold your crypto. There are plenty of ways to physically store data off the internet.
