People have been storing data offline for over a hundred years.

Thomas Edison recorded the first human voice in 1877 on a cylinder.

While admittedly a crypto wallet is far more data than Edison's recording, the transcoding of this data is simple binary. That code can be stored on nearly any physical form of media that has been invented, for which there are many thousands of variations.
