Florida just passed that law about people being able to sue big tech platforms for their deceptions and false information! And we all know our POTUS Trump loves to 'Sue them!' ?
I thought it was NOT passed and was rules that it would be hurting Big Tech's first amendment rights?
The Florida bill WAS passed and Gov. DeSantis signed it into law the week before last. Corporate big tech does not have 1st Amendment protections. Individuals do. But the oligarchs are having their FCC Rule 230 protections removed. They abused it and will now lose everything. At this point Big Tech oligarchs are fuckin lucky they aren't being dragged through the streets! Yet.
