While some should be mature enough to see through the veil, I can't help but think (edit: latter comments got me thinking - some things are out of even the parents' control, as there's only so much that can be done with limited resources - it's far more than any one persons' shoulders to put the blame and, sometimes, it's not even their blame to shoulder) where their parents were while they were being "taught" these heavily detestable things. It's an addiction to hate as far as I can see, and while I feel at least I am justified in my anger through reason and rationale, that slippery slope applies to us as well, and I feel I'm not too far off of a few steps away from slipping myself. Need to constantly check myself before I wreck myself.
Absolutely. I should have led with that, tbh, because much of the terrible parenting woes we see actually come as a result of teachers who they spend much of their time with, as the 'rents are too busy elsewhere. I've said it before - it becomes an issue when the education system teaches the students what to think instead of how to think.
I'm sorry. What little I know about you, it already sounds to me you're trying your darnedest. Shouldn't have pushed the blame so simply on the parents when it's clearly far more than just any one thing.

Transient anger is a natural reaction to injustice. It's the checking of yourself that makes you reasonable.
They can't do it!
I'll be honest, though, it's been so difficult keeping it together.
Not too long now!
Sadly, I don't take much pleasure in I-Told-You-So's. That being said, more and more people are waking up, so that's awesome.
Tbh, it is the adults and the teachers i am most frustrated with. They were exposed to a much more accurate telling of this nation's history.

Yes. My kids were nearly ruined by public school. Daughter recovered because she has a will of iron.
Son has struggled more. Good kid but .... atm rebellion is a touch of wokeness.
