I have a second home in Austin to be close to my grand kids when I visit. It’s just so sad how far left everyone is and I have to keep my mouth shut when visiting because I choose to be a part of their life and would not be if I was as vocal there as I am at home. But I have to say I’m not hearing or seeing as much about Biden anymore and the moment the last mask mandate finally expired in Austin, I was SHOCKED to see so many take off the masks! When I went to the grocery store I bet only 10% were still wearing them. Where I live further north in TX is Trump country but even to this day there are at least 20% who still wear masks to the grocery store.
I still have hope for Austin, my daughter and her husband told me on one of my more recent trips that they stopped watching CNN a few months ago because it was obviously too biased. I try to do at least one subconscious red pill at every visit. Sometimes it gets them thinking and sometimes it just starts a fight and I try quickly to change the subject to the grandkids. They claim to be middle of the road but they are still left of middle.
I moved away from just south of the river(near downtown) a few years back.
In my experiences, there are still a LOT of masked sheeple there, but I refrain from even going into town anymore due to how disgusting the place has become.
I really miss the OLD Austin of the 70's,80's and 90's where EVERYBODY got along and showed love for all.
I pray you are correct.
