Imo there is a missing component to all this, bio-electric.
A lot of ‘modern’ medicine, especially the textbooks stuff the AMA preaches is based on chemical substances, which big pharma can patent. Biochemical knowledge is far more important (basis for nutrition imo) and the interlink between pathways and reactions in the body. From my research a lot of the food we eat gets broken down to a variety of bio-available compounds, then at the very end Hydrogen (H) which the mitochondria uses as fuel.
But, we are mainly electrical beings … each cell has electrical potential. As you ‘erode’ or age your cells start to lose this energy potential… thus you start to get older and/or sicker. If you can ‘power’ your body somehow… I believe we can, or have the potential to live much much longer than we think. Ancient civilizations always refer to humans who could live hundreds of years - in our Judeo-Christian tradition here… think Methuselah.
Tesla’s research imo was so fundamental to humanity that I think we was on the verge of discovering something remarkable. A lot of Eastern medicine refers to this energy as some sort of life force — e.g. Qi in traditional Chinese medicine or Prana im Ayurveda.
