Agreed. We're coming out of a period of enormous upheaval for the Great Awakening, when many have experienced being really shaken, emotions released and activated: Anger, fear, outrage, perplexity, denial, anxiety, determination, bravery, and more.
Over the past several months, a lot of that emotionality has expressed itself on the board, in terms of postings and so forth. And there's probably been a need for that, after all.
But as things move forward, its important to get back to basics, redouble our efforts and get back to being anons who review, share, analyse, hypothesize, discuss and extract, reduce, reveal and expose.
That needs a diligent effort that is not emotionally reactive or even emotionally eruptive.
The overall tone would benefit from returning to our roots and moving forward, rather than permitting what is happening around us to unnecessarily impinge on our internal state.
Easier said than done, but some effort in this direction would be a positive step forward.
And tumultuous it is indeed, one week it's "boom boom boom happening" then next week it feels like we've moved two steps back. Sometimes it happens within the same day.
